The Topeka Roadrunners will be having nightmares, but not
about monsters, after their rough Halloween weekend. The squad was in action for the first and
second days of November against the Amarillo Bulls at the Civic Center. The Roadrunners were held scoreless for the
entire 6 periods, 2 hours, or two evenings they were out on the ice. They
conceded 6 total goals, 4 in the first game and 2 in the second game. This will be a weekend to forget for the
10-8-2 Roadrunners as they move on to play the last three games of their road
trip. The ‘Runners have had a tough outing
away from home as they have won 4 games, but lost 5 games as well. They will return home to Landon Arena in
three weeks, on November 21st, for their first home game in nearly a
month and a half.
