The Roadrunners wrapped up their two game series with the
Springfield Jr. Blues this past weekend, splitting series by winning game one
and losing game two. PJ Bridges got his
first start between the pipes, eventually securing the shutout, giving the ‘Runners
a 3-0 win in Friday night game. Sam Rennaker scored the first goal, which was
his second on the season. Two more goals
were added by Fernsler and Groat to secure the 3-0 shutout victory. In the Saturday game, the Runners struggled
to get a whole lot going offensively, dropping the game 4-1. Tyler Poulsen had the lone goal for the
Roadrunners whose record goes to 10-6-2 following the win and loss in
Springfield.
